Senior Traffic Safety Engineer responsible for reviewing plans to ensure compliance with complete streets and safe systems guidelines, assisting with engineering investigations, planning traffic data and road geometrics, developing construction plans and drawings, producing specifications and reports, coordinating with other disciplines, and performing field observations with emphasis on quality control and feasibility analysis. Requires strong technical writing and communication skills; professional engineer (P.E.) preferred; typical incumbents have 6–10 years of experience since degree.
Required Qualifications
