Job Summary
Senior Traffic Engineer and project leader specializing in signals, ITS, and roadway lighting. Responsible for planning, managing, and delivering complex transportation projects; serves as the primary technical point of contact for clients and agencies; leads scope development, budgeting, scheduling, staffing, and coordination; oversees design, specifications, estimates, and technical memoranda; ensures compliance with MUTCD, FHWA, and AASHTO standards; mentors engineering staff and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams; requires PE license and 8+ years of experience; design-build experience and proficiency with MicroStation/OpenRoads, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and traffic-analysis tools are valued.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- 8+ years of professional experience in traffic or transportation engineering, with demonstrated experience managing projects and leading technical teams
