Job Summary
Lead production and checking of technical traffic reports, design plans, calculations, specifications, and cost opinions. Perform traffic modeling and analysis using Highway Capacity Software and Synchro/SimTraffic, while executing traffic signal, signing, pavement marking, and traffic control design. Serve as a Task Manager overseeing project teams, planning schedules, and coordinating documents for multiple major projects. Analyze complex engineering problems and apply risk management principles to address project delivery uncertainties. Maintain compliance with DOT standards and MUTCD requirements while mentoring staff and integrating new technical processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or higher in Engineering
- 12+ years experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- MicroStation computer-aided design skills
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) License, reciprocity in multiple states
- Driver's License
