Job Summary
Senior Trader responsible for executing, reconciling, and supporting trades for advisors and portfolio managers. Partners with the Trading Team Manager and other Senior Traders to manage model changes, cash needs, and reporting; serves as liaison to service providers and supports risk mitigation and compliance practices. Requires strong quantitative/analytical skills, proficiency with portfolio accounting and trading systems, and solid experience with business applications. The role emphasizes accurate trade execution, timely reporting, cross-functional collaboration, and maintaining confidentiality and governance in investment operations.
Required Qualifications
- B.A. or B.S. degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in trade desk and securities operations
- Demonstrated knowledge of trade executions
- Demonstrated proficiency with portfolio accounting and trading systems (e.g., Tamarac, FIX Flyer Co-Pilot)
- Experience with general business applications (Salesforce, Excel, Word, SharePoint, Outlook, Adobe)
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Team-oriented with high ethical standards
