Job Summary
Senior Trader, Balance Sheet responsible for actively managing Balance Sheet financial risk to support NSW debt portfolio strategies, collaborating with the Balance Sheet team on performance outcomes, executing market transactions (interest rate, FX, and commodity hedging) for the Financial Markets Solutions team, managing inflation portfolio risk, supporting liquidity optimization, and providing market execution and stakeholder relations. Requires deep knowledge of fixed income, risk management, interest rate and forex markets, NSW public sector finances, and tertiary qualifications with AFMA accreditations; 12-month term. Strong emphasis on risk management, client/debt issuance guidance, and collaboration with external banks and investors; experience with public sector finance and regulatory considerations is essential.
