Job Summary
Senior Tooling Engineer responsible for new Injection Mold development from Part DFM through production approval; collaborates with mold makers to deliver robust molds; manages design reviews, project milestones, FAT activities on-site at suppliers, mold qualification and documentation; coordinates between internal customers, suppliers, and supply chain; provides weekly status reports and hand-off to production molding and operations; requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, 5+ years in injection molding mold development, strong communication, 3D modeling (AutoCAD Inventor or SolidWorks), MoldEx 3D, engineering resins knowledge; proficient in MS Office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (ABET accredited)
- Minimum 5 yrs experience in the injection molding industry with a focus on mold development
- Strong organization and communication
- Detail oriented with the ability to adapt to changes quickly
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience with 3D modeling software: AutoCAD Inventor or SolidWorks
- Experience performing and interpreting Mold flow analyses (MoldEx 3D, preferred)
- Familiar with engineering grade resins
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
