Job Summary
Lead end-to-end ThingWorx application development, including complex mashup UX design, advanced dashboarding with drill-downs and trend comparisons, and optimized JavaScript/Java service creation. Own data modeling for scalability, SQL query optimization, and full deployment lifecycles from version migration to platform upgrades. Execute integrations with PLC, SCADA, MES, ERP, and OPC UA/Modbus TCP/IP systems while translating business requirements into technical solutions. Guide junior developers, mentor teams, and lead requirement discussions on feasibility and scope. Manage multi-site IIoT deployments with a focus on security, data governance, and industrial KPIs.
Required Qualifications
- Strong, hands-on expertise in ThingWorx Foundation (end-to-end ownership)
- Advanced experience in ThingWorx data modeling with scalability and performance considerations
- Proven expertise in complex Mashup (UX) development
- Advanced dashboards, drill-downs, trend comparisons, filters, and exports
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Java for optimized ThingWorx services
- Expertise in SQL development and optimization (queries, procedures, transformations)
- End-to-end ownership of ThingWorx application deployment
- Platform maintenance and upgrades
- Version migration
- Hands-on experience integrating ThingWorx with PLC / SCADA / MES / ERP systems
- Experience with OPC UA / Modbus TCP/IP based integrations
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial KPIs
- Ability to independently translate business requirements into technical solutions
Desired Qualifications
- Experience developing ThingWorx custom extensions
- Hands-on exposure to ThingWorx Analytics
- Hands-on exposure to ThingWorx Flow
- Experience with Kepware architecture, performance tuning, and governance
- Python scripting for data processing or automation
- Experience in multi-site or enterprise-scale IIoT deployments
- Knowledge of security, data governance, and platform performance best practices
- Integration experience with SAP and other enterprise systems
