Job Summary
Senior Therapeutic Radiographer specializing in localised, high-impact skin radiotherapy. Lead and participate in radiotherapy treatment and planning across pre-treatment and treatment phases, including brachytherapy; develop and expand the skin SABR portfolio; drive service innovation and quality improvement initiatives for the skin radiotherapy pathway; supervise junior staff and students; maintain HCPC registration and contribute to professional development portfolios; participate in the departmental shift/on-call system and uphold clinical governance within the NHS framework.
Required Qualifications
- BSc Therapeutic Radiography or DCR(T) or equivalent
- HCPC registration to practice as a Therapeutic Radiographer
- Post-graduate education (or willingness to pursue Level 7 education to become Senior Enhanced Practitioner if opportunity arises)
