Job Summary
Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist, Oncology – Kansas City, MO region responsible for promoting approved indications within a defined territory, engaging healthcare providers with scientific dialogue, delivering in-office presentations and external speaker programs, and developing comprehensive territory plans. The role requires building credibility with HCPs, staying current with emerging data in Hematology/Oncology, leveraging CE^3 and other tools for insights, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure a high-quality Customer Experience. The position is field-based with 100% time in the field; travel to multiple Kansas City and surrounding MO/ KS locations is expected. Compensation ranges from $144,500 to $175,100 plus incentive opportunities; requires an advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years in pharma/biotech sales or related roles, with demonstrated ability to communicate complex clinical data and to manage customer relationships in a compliant, data-driven manner. Required Qualifications
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience as healthcare sales / MSL / HCP / nurse
- Experience in Hematology/Oncology required
- Ability to communicate scientific or clinical data accurately to physicians
- Strong credibility with customers and a customer-centric mindset
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Cross-functional collaboration capability
- Proficiency with CE^3 and CRM tools
- Willingness to operate a company-provided vehicle as required
