Job Summary
Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist, Cardiovascular Community in Grand Rapids, MI, is a field-based role focused on promoting approved indications within the cardiovascular portfolio, engaging health care providers with scientific dialogue, and driving demand for medicines. The TAS develops and implements territory/account plans, maintains high scientific credibility with regional leaders and physicians, collaborates across functions to deliver an outstanding Customer Experience, and leverages CE^3 tools to generate insights and inform call plans. Responsibilities include in-office presentations, organizing external speaker programs, staying current with emerging data, and ensuring compliant engagement with HCPs, staff, and stakeholders. The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, data-driven decision making, and proficiency with CE^3/CRM tools, with a Company-provided vehicle and field-based travel within the assigned territory.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience as healthcare sales / MSL / HCP / nurse
- Experience in cardiovascular required.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively cross-functionally with a positive team mindset
- Strong selling and promotional skills with track record of meeting or exceeding goals
- Ability to communicate scientific or clinical data accurately to help physicians serve patients
