Job Summary
Manage fabric development from initial concept through production while partnering with mills, vendors, and factories to ensure quality, pricing, and delivery expectations are met. Review lab dips, strike-offs, handlooms, and bulk fabric approvals; troubleshoot fabric issues and recommend solutions. Maintain seasonal fabric libraries, development records, PLM data, and fabric specifications while tracking timelines to support sourcing initiatives. Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Production, and Sourcing teams to drive seasonal execution and mentor junior team members. This role supports textile sourcing and fabric development activities for iconic brands including Kasper, Anne Klein, LeSuit, and Kenneth Cole within The Kasper Group.
Required Qualifications
- 4-6 years of textile sourcing, development, or production experience
- Strong woven and knit fabric knowledge
- Experience working directly with mills and overseas vendors
- Strong Excel and PLM experience
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
