Job Summary
Drive and evolve CI/CD infrastructure for TimescaleDB, Toolkit, Data Tiering, and Tiger Lake using GitHub Actions, while owning the end-to-end release process to automate operations and ensure seamless deployments. Design and implement stress testing infrastructure from the ground up, execute tests to analyze results, and build comprehensive testing systems to validate performance in cloud environments. Elevate benchmarking frameworks with advanced features like explain plans to ensure reliable measurement and detect regressions early. This role requires deep expertise in modern CI/CD practices, Python automation, and production PostgreSQL environments, with a focus on collaboration with the platform team to deliver high-quality releases efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Senior Release Engineer, QA Lead, or similar role with end-to-end release process ownership
- Deep expertise in modern CI/CD practices and tools, especially GitHub Actions
- Strong Python skills for automation, tooling, and infrastructure
- Hands-on experience running PostgreSQL in production environments
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience with TimescaleDB
- Basic knowledge of Kubernetes
