Senior Test Operations Engineer

Job Summary
Senior Test Operations Engineer responsible for coordinating test operations across multiple product groups and suppliers, executing daily test operations activities, managing test capacity from NPI transfer to high-volume manufacturing, deploying new tester/handler technology, implementing best practices at test manufacturing sites, and driving improvements in OEE, yield, and cycle times. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Quality, Foundry, PMO) across US, Japan, India, Malaysia, and China, experience with leading ATE tester platforms, strong problem-solving and project-management skills, and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computing or related engineering field. Knowledge of test methodologies for analog/digital/power products, failure analysis, reliability testing, and proficiency with data analysis tools is preferred. The position is based in Bayan Lepas, Malaysia (on-site) with a global scope across Asia-Pacific manufacturing sites.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computing or related engineering discipline
- Preferable with >3 years of experience in High Volume Semiconductor Test Manufacturing environment or Test Product Engineering roles
- Experience with one of major ATE tester platforms (Teradyne ETS364/Flex/ETS800, Advantest 93k, SPEA and Cohu)
- Familiar with overall supply chain flow, particularly test & post-test processes and operations/ planning concepts
- Excellent problem-solving ability (8D, Why-Why Analysis, Process & Manufacturing challenges)
- Good understanding of product knowledge & test methodology of analog/digital/power product, failure analysis and reliability test
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills to interact with people at all levels
- Strong project management skills
- Proficient on test hardware/ test handler/prober platforms
- Experience with Visual Basic/C++ programming
- Proficiency in statistical data analysis tools (JMP, Spotfire, etc.)
