Job Summary
Senior Test Manager & Quality Engineer responsible for testing AI/ML solutions throughout their life-cycle. Owns testing and quality assurance of AI/model APIs and platform components; designs and automates test frameworks (Playwright-Python UI, pytest APIs, BDD/Gherkin) and integrates tests in GitLab CI/CD. Analyzes requirements for testability, derives test cases from functional and non-functional requirements (reliability, performance, security, usability, robustness), and plans automated testing across DEV/INT/UAT/pre-PROD environments. Develops AI/ML-specific test strategies including evaluation pipelines for LLM outputs, defines reusable testing patterns, and collaborates with ML engineers and product teams. Drives triage of defects, communicates quality signals to squads, and contributes to SAFe ceremonies (PI Planning, System Demos, Inspect & Adapt). Requires hands-on Python experience, a strong background in QA for data/ML platforms, experience in regulated financial services preferred, and exposure to test automation in CI/CD pipelines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Hands-on experience integrating and executing tests for AI solutions and/or large scale data projects
- Solid grasp of Git and version control workflows
- Experience with Jira for Story/Feature tracking and test management integration
- Demonstrated end-to-end thinking — connecting user journeys, data flows, authentication layers, and system boundaries
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Fluency in English; German is a plus
