Job Summary
Transition products from design to manufacturing by creating efficient, consistent processes for new product development. Define and establish test methods, processes, and tools while designing and procuring test fixtures for electro-mechanical sub-assemblies and final assemblies. Partner with design engineering and facilitate supplier value engineering to reduce costs and improve product reliability. Create and maintain test process instructions, coordinate product transfers to manufacturing, and support daily production demand. Troubleshoot electronic circuits and apply statistical analysis to manufacturing processes.
Required Qualifications
- BS (IE/ME/EE)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in electrical or electromechanical systems
- Ability to learn quickly problem-solving techniques relating to manufacturing process
- Collaboration skills with a passion for manufacturing and operations
- Ability to troubleshoot electronic circuits
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to train and mentor production personnel
- 10-20% domestic & international travel
- U.S. person status (U.S. citizen, noncitizen national, lawful permanent resident, asylum grantee, or refugee)
- Reside in a state where MKS is registered to do business
