Job Summary
Lead creation and execution of performance test plans and test cases for new feature rollouts, collaborating closely with architects and developers. Monitor and analyze performance test results to identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities, while implementing required test configurations within the system. Investigate and resolve performance-related defects by gathering system captures and log information, utilizing tools such as Quality Center or TestRail to track progress. Prepare comprehensive performance test reports highlighting key findings, metrics, and recommendations, and continuously evaluate testing processes to enhance efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's (BS) or Master's (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
- Significant experience in creating and executing test plans and developing and maintaining test infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies and processes
- Defect detection, debugging and regression skills
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python, Perl, bash, etc.)
- Aptitude to independently learn new technologies
- Strong organizational, planning and leadership skills
- Comfortable and adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment
