Job Summary
Design and implement testing methods and equipment for insulin delivery pump and transmitter systems, verifying product reliability and EMC compliance. Compile test data, define changes to procedures and manufacturing processes, and write verification test plans and reports in FDA/ISO compliance. Operate lab equipment including spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and environmental chambers to support design verification and risk management activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate quality decisions, facilitate project delivery, and lead change control evaluations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
- Advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Ability to travel and support testing in outside test labs
- Experience with test method development, repeatability, and execution
- Experience in Medical Device/FDA Regulated Industry and compliance with IEC60601-1-2
- Familiarity with EMC standards and RF regulations (e.g., FCC, EN, CISPR)
- Experience with DFMEA, Accelerated Life Testing, Risk Analysis, Reliability Growth, and/or Demonstration Testing
- Experience with planning and executing design verification testing, test method development and test method validation for Infusion pump systems
- Demonstrate exceptional communication and technical writing skills
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Valid driver's license
