Job Summary
Own the testing strategy as the lead Test Engineer on a fast-paced, mission-critical program by partnering with software and DevOps engineers to deliver high-quality, resilient systems. Design, develop, and execute automated and manual tests across system, integration, regression, and stress scenarios while validating data ingest pipelines and ensuring alignment with data lifecycle management requirements. Identify, document, and track defects through resolution, maintaining comprehensive test documentation including plans, cases, and reports. Contribute to automated testing efforts using tools such as JUnit and Mockito within Linux environments and AWS. Requires 8+ years of experience, active TS/SCI with Polygraph, and proficiency in Python, Java, and Bash.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience as a Test Engineer supporting programs of similar scope and complexity
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree)
- Experience with automated testing and scripting (e.g., Python, Java, Bash)
- Hands-on experience with testing tools such as JUnit and Mockito
- Experience testing in Linux environments and familiarity with AWS
- Demonstrated understanding of data ingest processes and data lifecycle management
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
