Job Summary
Senior Test Engineer role within the Obex Advisor Platform team in Copenhagen. Responsible for planning, executing, and coordinating testing activities across the Obex platform, performing manual testing of features and fixes, defining and expanding automated tests, owning testing related to releases, evaluating testability of new features, and supporting continuous improvement of testing processes and tools. Collaborates with developers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts to identify risks and quality improvements, maintains test assets in TestRail, and contributes to a scalable testing setup while ensuring lessons learned are incorporated into future releases. The role sits in a close-knit, collaborative team of ~30 based in Copenhagen with a mix of flexible remote and office work, emphasizing quality, reliability, and innovation.
Required Qualifications
- Several years of experience working as a Tester, Technical Tester, Test Engineer, or similar
- Strong experience with manual testing and a passion for delivering high-quality software
- Experience with test management tools such as TestRail or similar
- Experience planning and executing testing activities for releases
- Experience with API testing and automated testing practices
- Comfortable working across multiple products and functional areas
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners
- A structured and pragmatic approach to testing and quality assurance
- ISTQB Foundation certification or similar testing certification is an advantage
