Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of software and product testing to meet business requirements by reviewing and validating requirements and technical specifications to create test cases. Develop test script and test automation scripts, then execute test plans and detailed test cases based on requirements and customer conversations. Document results, offer observations or improvements after analyzing test results and overall product quality, and collaborate with the development and scrum teams on daily work. Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate quality testing activities while debugging and defining corrective actions. Review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.
Required Qualifications
- Software quality assurance experience
- Ability to oversee all aspects of software and product testing
- Experience reviewing and validating requirements and technical specifications
- Experience creating test cases
- Ability to develop test scripts and test automation scripts
- Experience executing test plans and detailed test cases
- Ability to document and report results
- Ability to offer observations or improvements after analysis of test results
- Experience collaborating with development teams
- Experience collaborating with scrum teams
- Ability to communicate professionally at all levels within and outside of the company
- Experience estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating quality testing activities
- Experience designing and implementing both automation and manual tests
- Experience debugging
- Experience defining corrective actions
- Experience reviewing system requirements
- Experience tracking quality assurance metrics (e.g., defect densities and open defect counts)
