Job Summary
Develop and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and Python to automate provisioning and manage microservices orchestration. Configure Kubernetes, Docker Compose, and CI/CD pipelines with GitLab runners and Argo CD to ensure reliable deployment and performance tuning. Patch, harden, and maintain compliance for RHEL environments while troubleshooting infrastructure issues to guarantee system uptime. Manage commercial cloud platforms including EC2, Lambdas, and S3, and collaborate with development teams to optimize application reliability. Perform this work primarily in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) with minimal remote options.
Required Qualifications
- Active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
- 9 years or more of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree
- U.S. Citizenship
- Works well independently as well as on a team
- Strong communication skills
- Infrastructure as Code (IAS), strong AWS, Python, Ansible, Terraform
Desired Qualifications
- Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure including but not limited to EC2, Lambdas, S3, SNS, SQS, Event Router, Athena, Step Functions using Terraform and auto scaling
- Understanding of AWS networking principles to include VPCs, NATs, IP Gateway
- Develop and manage Gitlab CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and reliability
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and ensure system uptime
- Kubernetes experience with a focus on EKS, ECS, and/or Fargate
