Job Summary
Define the scope of testing for each product and release by collaborating with Test Engineers to define approaches and write test scenarios. Plan test activities, ensure priority alignment within the team, and drive environment and tool setup. Prepare product quality assessments by reviewing requirements, creating test cases and data, and automating tests. Execute tests, report outcomes, and continuously assess methods for improvement. Leverage test automation patterns to ensure requirement coverage and reliable execution. Manage end-user acceptance testing and prioritize defects with root cause analysis.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in IT
- Relevant IT professional experience of at least 7 years
- Hands on experience in creating efficient test approaches, test planning, test scenarios, test case creation and execution
- Experience in API testing using Postman, Kreya or similar tools
- Experience using DBs and SQL, containerized solutions and observability tools
- Experience in writing and editing automated tests
- Experience with system integration testing
- Excellent knowledge of testing standards, methods
- Defect Management including prioritization of defects and root cause analysis
- Experience in complex, enterprise system integration
- End User (UAT) management
- Experience with Test and Defect Management tools
- Experience in agile software development and testing methodologies
- Ability to understand business context, define priorities, communicate with technology focused teams and communicate the outcome of test campaigns
- Excellent command of the English language
