Job Summary
Lead development of test plans, procedures, and automated test scripts for cloud-enabled, distributed mission systems supporting the AF DCGS High Band Mission Applications Software Sustainment and Development program. Perform integration and verification of distributed applications, evaluate end-to-end data flows, and guide test environment setup and deployment validation. Drive defect investigation, coordinate root cause analysis with engineering teams, and maintain alignment of test artifacts within controlled technical baselines. Participate in interface control working groups and provide input to architecture discussions to ensure testability. Work follows modern agile engineering methods with strong technical leadership during system integration and troubleshooting. Active and transferable U.S. government TS/SCI clearance is required prior to start date.
Required Qualifications
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- Demonstrated test engineering experience for distributed or cloud based systems
- Familiarity with interface and configuration management practices
- Experience with automated test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to lead troubleshooting across multidiscipline teams
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum 5 years prior relevant experience
- Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
Desired Qualifications
- CompTIA Security+
- Experience with containerized/cloud native architectures (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Understanding of observability/monitoring tools
- Experience with mission assurance or cyber related verification
