Job Summary
Senior Test Engineer responsible for analyzing electronic and mechanical designs for manufacturing testability, designing test fixtures, and developing automated tests and diagnostics using LabVIEW and Python. Leads Test Technicians through debugging and collaboration with Development Engineering to improve testability, develops and documents test plans in ISO9001 environments, creates fixtures and test procedures, and supports manufacturing with lean and Kaizen input. Must have a strong electro-mechanical background, experience in electronics manufacturing, and ability to work cross-functionally to improve test efficiency and product quality.
Required Qualifications
- BSEE (Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering)
- 5 to 8 years of experience in electronics manufacturing environment
- Strong Electro-mechanical background
- Experience with LabVIEW; knowledge of programming structure fundamentals required
- Knowledge of standard test equipment (power supplies, meters, scopes, function generators)
- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
- Strong communication skills
