Job Summary
Senior Test Engineer to lead all-up-round AUR testing for tactical solid rocket motor propulsion systems. Own the full AUR test lifecycle from warhead and ESAD integration through government range coordination, test execution, and post-test data disposition, serving as the primary interface with range safety, EOD, program offices, and customers. Responsibilities include leading static fire and flight tests with live warhead/ESAD assemblies, developing test plans and hazard analyses, defining instrumentation and DAS configurations, coordinating pre-fire briefings, and preparing formal test reports; coordinating anomaly investigations with systems engineering and quality; managing warhead integration, ESAD installation, and safe-separation verification; enforcing energetic material handling procedures; maintaining explosives accountability and ATF compliance; planning end-to-end shipping of energetic articles; coordinating with government range authorities and handling range-use documentation; ensuring compliance with DoD/ATF/DDESB requirements and ITAR/export controls; and maintaining strong relationships with range POCs to optimize scheduling and minimize range hold risks.
