Job Summary
Senior Test Engineer responsible for designing and maintaining a test automation suite using Java, Python, Gherkin, and Bamboo; plan quality test approach, test design and test cases; implement and execute test cases, document results and defects; collaborate with BAs, Developers, Support Analysts and stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and test status communicated; coordinate with external automation vendors, review automation work, and participate in QE&T CoP; familiar with test environments, data setup, and CI/CD; experience with JIRA, Confluence, and various automation tools; flexibility for hybrid working in Sydney, Australia.
Required Qualifications
- Have about 4 to 5 years of experience in test automation.
- Experience in test automation and automation principals and strategies.
- Designed, built and maintained test automation frameworks using JAVA.
- Designed, built and maintained test automation frameworks using Python.
- In-depth testing experience in a structured environment.
- Experience in system, system integration, regression, end-to-end, & parallel testing.
- Experience in testing futures/ derivatives products or clearing systems.
- Experience with test management tools such as JIRA and confluence.
- Ability to multi-task and be comfortable with frequently changing priorities.
