Job Summary
Senior Test Automation Specialist leading automation strategy and hands-on delivery for JPMorgan Chase's Credit Card Line of Business. Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation using Selenium, Cucumber, and related tools; integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Maven, Git) to continuously validate code releases. Partner with Product Owners, Technology Leaders, and Business Partners to translate requirements into comprehensive test scenarios; participate in Agile ceremonies; champion adoption of new tools and methodologies; conduct automated and manual testing to validate acceptance criteria; monitor quality metrics, identify risks, and communicate progress to stakeholders. Provide technical mentorship, contribute to documentation and training, and assist in manual UAT when automation is not feasible. 5+ years in test automation and framework development, with deep experience in Selenium, Cucumber, Java, JavaScript, HTML5/CSS3, Unix, and CI/CD practices; strong communication and ability to work with senior stakeholders; related finance/credit card domain experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in test automation and technical roles
- 5 years of proven experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks
- 5 years of working knowledge of Selenium, Cucumber, and open-source test automation tools
- 5 years of experience working on web applications including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- 5 years of experience working in Java and working knowledge of Python
- 5 years of experience in Business Driven Development techniques (JUnit, Fitnesse, Selenium, Cucumber, or similar tools)
- 5 years of experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment practices and tools (Jenkins or equivalent, Maven, Git)
- 5 years of experience working in Agile teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong presentation and influential skills with senior stakeholders
- Experience working on Unix
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- Experience supporting organizational change, including process transformation and technology adoption
- Passionate about testing strategy, problem solving, and sharing expertise
