Job Summary
Senior Test Automation Engineer skilled in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test suites for functional, regression, smoke, and release validation across devices and software builds. Hands-on software engineering and debugging capabilities to analyze failures, reproduce issues, and provide actionable diagnostics. Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and contributing to scalable automation frameworks that support rapid validation and release workflows. Proficient with Android and device validation in prototype hardware contexts, and capable of configuring prototype devices and test environments for automated execution. Collaborative role focused on release readiness, quality initiatives, and improving testing infrastructure in a fast-moving hardware/software environment.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5–7+ years of experience in software testing, test automation, SDET, or quality engineering
- Hands-on coding and debugging experience
- Experience designing and maintaining automated testing frameworks and test suites
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated validation workflows
- Experience testing with prototype devices, software builds, or release validation environments
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
