Job Summary
Develop and maintain scalable test automation solutions using Java, Python, and frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, and Cypress for SWIFT's financial technology platforms. Design test specifications, regression test sets, and technical documentation to support new hardware and software releases. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define strategies and resolve defects. Troubleshoot application and UI issues in Linux environments by analyzing logs, server configurations, and network diagnostics. Perform root cause analysis for application defects and production issues, providing technical assistance to colleagues and contributing to a Center of Expertise problem-solving team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a strong focus on test automation
- Proven experience building and maintaining automation frameworks from the ground up
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, C#, or similar object-oriented languages
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent automation frameworks
- Strong knowledge of API testing tools and methodologies such as Postman and Rest Assured
- Experience integrating automated testing within CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
- Strong Linux troubleshooting skills, including log analysis, certificate validation, network diagnostics, and application debugging
- Experience using Linux tools such as grep, awk, sed, tail, curl, netstat, tcpdump, openssl, and related utilities
- Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and Quality Engineering practices
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner
- Knowledge of security testing and secure development practices
- Experience with cloud platforms, container technologies, and DevOps practices
- Experience in the financial services, banking, payments, or fintech industry
