Job Summary
Develop and enhance automation test scripts using Playwright and Selenium for web, API, and integration layers. Contribute to the design and evolution of automation frameworks under architectural guidance while implementing automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions. Collaborate with developers and QA teams to understand requirements, ensure comprehensive test coverage, and support test data management and environment setup. Participate in code reviews, defect analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure adherence to defined automation standards and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience in software testing and automation
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and Selenium WebDriver
- Proficiency in JavaScript and/or Java
- Experience working with automation frameworks (BDD, data-driven, or hybrid)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Good debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- B.Tech/BE/M.Tech/MCA/M.Sc
- 4-8 Years
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with API automation tools (Postman, Rest Assured, Karate)
- Basic understanding of performance testing tools (JMeter, k6)
- Exposure to mobile test automation (Appium)
- Awareness of emerging trends such as AI-powered testing
