Job Summary
Senior Test Automation Engineer role focusing on building and maintaining test automation frameworks with Playwright and JavaScript. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining automation scripts, mentoring junior engineers, analyzing results to improve coverage, participating in code reviews, executing performance/load testing, integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, troubleshooting complex automation challenges, and documenting processes. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years in software QA, strong JavaScript/CodeceptJs skills, experience with Playwright and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab), test design expertise, and effective collaboration with developers and project teams. Onsite recruitment process may require appearing at a Wolters Kluwer office in India.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, or related field
- 6+ years of experience in Software industry with strong experience in design, development, and implementation of quality assurance standards for software testing
- Proficiency in programming languages like JavaScript or CodeceptJs Framework
- Strong knowledge and experience on Automation tools like Playwright
- Complex Test Design: Ability to design and implement sophisticated test scenarios
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
- Mentorship: Capability to provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address automation issues
- Collaboration: Excellent team collaboration and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Project management tools like JIRA
