(Senior) Test Automation Engineer (m/w/d)

Job Summary
Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests while designing scalable test frameworks and best practices. Build performance and load tests using Azure tools to identify bottlenecks, and integrate all testing into GitLab CI/CD pipelines. Create test strategies and cases, execute manual and exploratory testing where automation is limited, and document bugs for developer resolution. Optimize test processes by introducing new tools and methods, including AI-driven approaches. This role supports a logistics software team focused on optimizing multi-use solutions to reduce the industry's CO2 footprint.
Required Qualifications
- Studium in Informatik, Wirtschaftsinformatik, eine vergleichbare Ausbildung oder entsprechende praktische Erfahrung
- Erfahrung in der Testautomatisierung von Webanwendungen
- Kenntnis von manuellen Testverfahren
- Vertrautheit mit Test-Frameworks wie xUnit
- Sicherheitsniveau in C#
- Verständnis für sauberen Code
- Erfahrung damit, Tests in GitLab CI/CD-Pipelines zu integrieren
Desired Qualifications
- Erfahrung mit .NET (gerne aktuelle Versionen)
- Erfahrung mit Entity Framework Core
- Erfahrung mit API-Testing (z.B. Postman, RestSharp)
- Kenntnis von Performance-Testing-Tools (z.B. Azure Load Testing)
- Kenntnis von Azure (insb. Web Apps, Application Insights)
- AI-Mindset: KI als fester Bestandteil moderner Softwareentwicklung
- Aktives Mitbringen in Meetings
- Denken mit und Unterstützen der Teams bei der Umsetzung von Best Practices im QA-Bereich
