Job Summary
Design and maintain automated test suites as code in Java, creating BDD scenarios with Cucumber against REST APIs for OAuth 2.0 and OIDC flows. Develop integration tests using JUnit 5, Testcontainers, and WireMock to validate gematik compliance through traceable, evidence-based reporting. Manage execution via Jira Xray and extend automation to UI, mobile, and performance testing while improving CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with development, security, and DevOps teams in a code-review culture to ensure production-grade quality for Germany's next-generation healthcare identity platform.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in Test Automation, Quality Engineering, or SDET roles
- Strong Java programming skills and a test-as-code mindset
- Hands-on experience with API test automation
- REST Assured, Postman, or similar tools
- Cucumber BDD
- JUnit 5
- TDD principles
- Strong understanding of OAuth 2.0 and OIDC-based authentication testing
- Experience designing scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based development practices
- Strong quality-driven mindset with focus on traceability, compliance validation, and test evidence management
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Must be available within Hungary due to European taxation regulation
