Job Summary
AI-native Test Automation Engineer needed to shape an AI-assisted QA strategy for a Laravel/Vue.js product generation, including end-to-end automation with Playwright and AI-codegen. Responsibilities include implementing an AI-driven test strategy, evaluating LLM outputs and prompts, conducting AI-assisted test case generation and self-healing tests, building a test pyramid with developers, ensuring CI/CD integration, reproducing bugs and performing root-cause analysis, and collaborating closely with developers, product managers and leadership to improve AI product testing.
Required Qualifications
- AI-Native Toolset (Playwright, Cypress or comparable) with AI-codegen
- Daily Driver like Claude or ChatGPT for test-case generation and edge-case analysis
- Cursor or similar AI-IDE to understand Vue.js and Laravel code quickly
- Experience with LLM evaluation tools (Promptfoo, Braintrust, LangSmith or self-built eval pipelines)
- Understanding of MCP, agentic workflows or custom GPTs and how to test them
- CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI), Git and PR-based workflows
- API testing experience (REST), databases (MySQL/Postgres) and web architectures; mobile app knowledge a plus
- Ability to translate customer tickets into reproducible tests
- Strong collaboration with developers, product managers and leadership
