Senior Test Analyst - Institutions - Netherlands - Remote - Contractor / Travel 1 week every 3 weeks

Job Summary
Conduct thorough non-functional performance testing of new and updated GUIs and APIs for applications running in Docker and Kubernetes containers. Design, execute, and report on performance test scripts using Apache JMeter, covering load, stress, endurance, and capacity testing scenarios. Define performance goals, thresholds, and acceptance criteria while analyzing execution results to identify bottlenecks and advise on improvements. Support operational acceptance testing, pilot activities, and ICT infrastructure projects, including creating and managing complex test data sets. Identify, re-test, and report on defects within the DevOps continuous testing framework. Work remotely with one week on-site in The Netherlands every three weeks; requires a work permit and fluent English.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master degree
- +9 years of experience in the area of Software Quality Assurance in the role of Technical Test Analyst
- +5 years of experience in performance testing of different kinds of systems (web apps, web services, middleware, databases), protocols and technologies (HTTP, REST, gRPC, SOAP, JDBC)
- +1 year of experience working in Kubernetes environments
- Ability to define performance goals/thresholds/acceptance criteria with related tests, based on product conditions, standards and regulations
- Good knowledge of C# or JAVA programming language or scripting languages (python, groovy) in the context of performance testing
- Apache JMeter performance test tool for developing, executing and analysing load test scenarios
- containerized environments (Kubernetes) including monitoring tools and Open Tracing
- networking, load balancers, firewalls, middleware (like queuing systems) and database
- Fluent English language knowledge
- Candidates need to be willing to work 1 week per 3 weeks on-site in The Netherlands
- A work permit is required
