Senior Technology Training Specialist - hybrid Annapolis, MD

Job Summary
Develop and deliver in-person instructor-led training for proprietary and advanced off-the-shelf software used by the Maryland Judiciary, including Microsoft Office applications and specialized technical solutions. Create technical documentation such as Quick Reference Cards, guides, and web content while developing video and interactive recorded training to support technical processes. Utilize adult learning principles to train individuals and groups, manage training projects from initiation through completion, and troubleshoot user-defined challenges. Coordinate multiple tasks and stakeholders effectively in a hybrid setting of three remote days and two on-site days at the Maryland Judicial College in Annapolis, MD.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- At least five (5) years' experience as a technology trainer with proprietary and/or advanced off the shelf software (such as Microsoft teams, Co-Pilot, OneNote, SharePoint, etc., applications)
- At least three (3) years' experience with developing technical documentation
- Experience with: Developing and delivering in person Instructor Led training for commercially available and proprietary software
- Delivering customer training programs using adult learning principles to individuals and groups of users
- Using Technical applications to support training development such as Camtasia, Articulate 360, Vyond, etc.
- Managing training projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes
- Ability to: Use methodologies to plan, track, and deliver high quality technical training
- Develop technical documentation for commercially available and proprietary software (Quick Reference Cards, Quick Reference Guides, content for the web, etc.)
- Develop video and interactive recorded training to support technical processes
- Coordinate multiple tasks, resources, and stakeholders effectively
- Organize and manage time effectively to handle concurrent training initiatives and deadlines
- Knowledge of: Customer service standards when interacting with internal and external Subject Matter Experts
- Identification and troubleshooting of user-defined challenges and implementing appropriate solutions
- Microsoft Office applications including Teams, Co-Pilot, OneNote, and SharePoint
- Work shall be performed in a hybrid setting each week, Monday through Friday
- Three (3) days remote at a suitable off-site location selected by the Offeror/Offeror Resource(s)
- Two (2) days on site at the Maryland Judicial College, 187 Harry S Truman Parkway, Annapolis, MD 21401
- The proposed resource(s) must be able to report on-site within twenty-four (24) hours after notification
- The Offeror proposed resource may not perform remote work from a country other than the United States of America without prior approval from the Contract Manager
Desired Qualifications
- The AOC prefers Offeror proposed resource(s) to have the following qualifications: a. At least five (5) years' experience as a technology trainer with proprietary and/or advanced off the shelf software (such as Microsoft teams, Co-Pilot, OneNote, SharePoint, etc., applications)
- b. At least three (3) years' experience with developing technical documentation
