Job Summary
Lead technology vision and strategy for Camden City School District, aligning IT initiatives with district priorities and overseeing two work streams: (1) management of service level agreements, procurement, and inventory; (2) technology implementation and literacy through professional development for central office and school staff. Responsible for setting goals and budgets, overseeing technology asset management, standardization of equipment and end-user devices, and ensuring district-wide integration of technology to support high-quality instruction. Provides strategic oversight for SLAs, application availability, network performance, and customer satisfaction; leads development and delivery of instructional technology programs and professional development; collaborates with senior leadership to assess strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities from IT initiatives; supports Erate program administration and ensures compliant, effective technology delivery across the district.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field from an accredited college or university
- 5-7 years of progressively responsible IT experience
- 3+ years of supervisory experience, including evaluating staff, assigning work, and supporting professional growth
- Demonstrated experience managing technology vendors, contracts, and service-level agreements
- Knowledge and experience integrating technology into classroom and district-wide curriculum
- A valid drivers license as well as current insurance and vehicle with valid registration
- Required criminal history background check, physical and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
