Job Summary
Senior Technology Manager at Bank of America responsible for building and leading teams to deliver technology products and services that meet business outcomes. Develops technology strategy, ensures solutions comply with standards, and promotes modern, Agile delivery practices. Leads engineering teams in design, development, and delivery of scalable cloud platforms, emphasizes IaC with Terraform Enterprise, CI/CD automation, secure-by-design configurations, and governance. Drives performance management, career development, stakeholder alignment, and a healthy, inclusive work environment while collaborating with architecture, security, and compliance to achieve risk and regulatory objectives.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, or infrastructure operations
- strong leadership experience guiding engineering teams delivering large-scale cloud platforms and automation solutions
- deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), with hands-on experience in Terraform Enterprise
- solid software engineering principles including code quality, modular design, version control, and automated testing
- experience implementing and scaling CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application delivery
- experience with DevSecOps practices, integrating security and compliance into automated workflows
- strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, networking (VPCs, load balancing, hybrid connectivity), and cloud architecture patterns
- experience with policy-as-code, governance frameworks, and regulatory compliance in enterprise environments (preferably financial services)
- ability to drive automation and platform standardization across large, complex organizations
- understanding of observability, monitoring, and incident management in cloud environments
- mentoring engineers and building high-performing, technically strong teams
- ability to operate effectively in cross-functional environments with architecture, security, risk, and business stakeholders
