Job Summary
Senior Technology Manager at Bank of America responsible for building and leading a team to deliver technology products and services that meet business outcomes. Defines technology strategy, ensures compliance with applicable standards, promotes design, engineering, and organizational practices, and advocates for modern, Agile solution delivery. Engages in coaching and career development, manages production performance and risk, leads cloud platform initiatives using Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and implements Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform Enterprise and CI/CD automation. Partners with architecture, security, and compliance teams to ensure secure-by-design configurations in a regulated financial services environment and fosters a healthy, inclusive team culture.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, or infrastructure operations, with a strong focus on GCP
- Proven leadership experience guiding engineering teams in delivering large-scale cloud platforms and automation solutions
- Deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), with hands-on experience in Terraform Enterprise as a primary tooling platform
- Strong background in software engineering principles, including code quality, modular design, version control, and automated testing
- Experience implementing and scaling CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application delivery
- Demonstrated expertise in DevSecOps practices, including integrating security and compliance into automated workflows
- Strong knowledge of GCP services, networking (VPCs, load balancing, hybrid connectivity), and cloud architecture patterns
- Experience with policy-as-code, governance frameworks, and regulatory compliance in enterprise environments (preferably financial services)
- Proven ability to drive automation and platform standardization across large, complex organizations
- Strong understanding of observability, monitoring, and incident management in cloud environments
- Experience mentoring engineers and building high-performing, technically strong teams
