Job Summary
Senior Laboratory Technologist in the Central Laboratory (Chemistry and Hematology) responsible for supervising and coordinating laboratory personnel, training and guiding technologists, participating in problem-solving, and maintaining quality assurance and quality control standards. The role involves performing quantitative and qualitative tests, ensuring compliance with licensure and accreditation requirements, and contributing to a culture of respect and inclusion. On-site, full-time position based at NewYork-Presbyterian Weill Cornell campus with a day shift (8:00am–4:00pm) and rotating weekends/holidays, requiring commutable distance to NYP. Eligible candidates typically possess a Bachelor’s in Medical Technology (or equivalent experience), NYS CLT licensure, and experience (minimum two years); ASCP certification preferred. The role includes supervision and coordination of laboratory personnel and opportunities for professional growth and development within a prestigious hospital system.
Required Qualifications

- New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure from the New York Education department
