Job Summary

Conduct research and development laboratory tasks, including running test procedures, troubleshooting, and documenting system results. Set up equipment and supplies per associated procedures, maintain laboratory tools, and perform simple instrument calibration. Review and modify test procedures, work with engineers to collect data, and compile observations into experimental reports and protocols. Follow laboratory procedures for record control, test variables, and equipment calibration while interpreting results and making routine recommendations. Requires high school diploma or AA degree, 2+ years in related field, and proficiency with laboratory equipment and GMP/GLP principles.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years' experience in related field
  • Proficient use of laboratory equipment and tools
  • Proficient in recording original data
  • Basic science and math skills
  • Ability to use computer for word processing, spreadsheets, document retrieval, e-mail, business calendars
  • Basic understanding of documentation systems
  • Knowledge and working application of standard operating procedures
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with a fast pace, changing priorities and deadlines
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Desired Qualifications

  • AA Degree preferred
  • Familiarity with GMP/GLP
