Job Summary
Senior Technician responsible for operating and monitoring Utilities equipment (boiler, chillers, compressors, cooling towers) in the field and from the DCS, including troubleshooting process and equipment, optimizing parameters, performing sampling and testing, and coordinating maintenance needs with production. Includes record-keeping and data analysis to ensure safe operation within permit limits, writing maintenance permits, and participating in safety, environmental, and training activities. Requires transitioning between shift coverage (12-hour rotating shifts) and maintaining compliance with cGMP, ISO, and environmental/safety standards. Licenses: NJ Blue Seal Engineer’s license and applicable water/wastewater licenses. Strong problem solving, math, communication, and teamwork skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- NJ Blue Seal Engineer’s license
- appropriate water treatment license
- appropriate wastewater license when required
- Minimum 1 to 4 years of experience in power and steam generation or equivalent
