Job Summary
Senior Technician, Refrigeration/HVAC responsible for maintaining and repairing Walmart facility refrigeration and HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, tools, and work-order systems. Duties include responding to emergency maintenance calls, inspecting and testing equipment, ensuring OSHA and EPA compliance, and completing required training. Must have 10 years’ experience in HVAC/refrigeration, EPA certification, valid driver’s license, and a HS diploma or equivalent. Primary work locations include Walmart facilities in Morrilton and Russellville, AR, with responsibilities to support and oversee maintenance activities and communicate with store teams. Benefits include health, 401(k), paid time off, and education benefits; compensation includes an hourly rate range of $26-$51 with potential premiums and a sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- 10 years’ experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration
- Universal EPA Certification
- AAS in A/C and Refrigeration (preferred)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid state-issued driver’s license and clean driving record
Desired Qualifications
- EPA Universal Certification for refrigerant handling
- 10 years’ experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance
- Excellent driving record
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights
