Job Summary
Senior Refrigeration/HVAC Technician at Walmart stores responsible for maintaining and repairing facility refrigeration and HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC/R skills, hand tools, and digital/power tools. Supports store repair work orders, responds to emergency maintenance calls, inspects and tests equipment, and ensures OSHA/EPA regulatory compliance per Walmart safety/environmental guidelines. Requires applying technical knowledge to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and complete required training; must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights. EPA refrigerant handling certification and a valid driver’s license are required.
Required Qualifications
- 10 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
- OR 8 years’ experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration and AAS in A/C and Refrigeration
- Universal EPA Certification
- Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent
