Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and troubleshoot engines, transmissions, and hydraulics for heavy machinery at a Caterpillar dealership. Perform maintenance on construction, agricultural, and material handling equipment while possessing the necessary tools for the job. Requires a minimum of five years of heavy machinery experience and the ability to successfully complete a background check. Starting wage ranges from $35.88 to $57.50 depending on experience and education. Onsite position in Sylmar, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to diagnose, repair and troubleshoot engines, transmission and hydraulics
- Minimum of 5 years of heavy machinery
- Must possess tools necessary to repair heavy machinery
- Must be able to successfully complete a background check
- One-year certificate or Associates degree from a community college or technical school
- Minimum five plus year's of CAT dealer experience
- ten year's heavy equipment industry experience
- equivalent education and experience
Additional Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license
