Job Summary
Senior Technician responsible for heavy equipment crane maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs and upgrades in the field at customer locations. Leads and mentors field technicians, conducts OSHA crane inspections and prepares inspection reports and repair orders. Acts as liaison between HCSG management and customers, communicates needs to schedule work, and participates in company trainings. Requires on-call availability, after-hours and weekend service as needed, with occasional travel (20-50%). Safety-focused, capable of working in variable environments and lifting up to 100 lbs regularly, and up to 50 lbs daily.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years crane repair & maintenance experience
- 3-4 years electrical and/or mechanical experience in lieu of crane repair & maintenance
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Must commit to working and driving safely
- Willing to work off the ground at various heights
- Basic computer skills for crane inspection programs
- Able to communicate well with others and work independently or as a team
- Knowledge of hand tools
