Senior Technician - Milwaukee

Job Summary
Lead field technicians in troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, and upgrading industrial hoists and cranes at customer locations while performing OSHA-required inspections and generating reports. Maintain company equipment and assets, operate tools and vehicles safely, and consult with customers on repair and safety recommendations. Train and mentor junior technicians, communicate daily with management to schedule work, and participate in required safety programs and trainings. Work in a safety-first environment with frequent travel (20-50%), on-call availability for after-hours and weekend services, and exposure to heights, noise, and extreme temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5-7 years of crane repair & maintenance experience
- At least 3-4 of years electrical and/or mechanical experience in lieu of crane repair & maintenance experience
- Must have a valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
- Must always commit to working and driving safely
- Must be willing to work off the ground at various heights
- Must have basic computer skills to work with web-based crane inspection programs
- Must be able to communicate well with others and work independently or as a team
- Knowledge of hand tools and/or possess hand tools
- Must be able to be on-call and provide after hour services as required
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a daily basis
- Must be able to lift up to 100lbs on a rare basis
- Employee will be required to travel from time to time (20-50%)
- Must be willing to work various shifts to accommodate needs of HCSG branches and customers
- This includes on-call and overtime
