Job Summary
Senior Technician responsible for maintaining and repairing hotel facilities, equipment, and assets to minimize downtime. Duties include periodic checks on policies/procedures, reporting to Duty/Chief Engineers, monitoring expenses, liaising with departments, completing work orders, completing logbooks/records, ensuring fire/health/safety procedures are followed, and performing any other duties assigned by engineering leadership. Requires Technical/Vocational Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering, HVAC certification, safety certifications (e.g., OSHA), and 2–5 years of hotel engineering or maintenance experience with strong troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems; focus on preventive maintenance and reducing downtime.
Required Qualifications
- Technical/Vocational Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering
- HVAC Certification or equivalent trade license
- Additional safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, fire safety)
- Minimum 2–5 years of hotel engineering or maintenance experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance and reduce downtime
