Job Summary
Install, configure, test, and commission electronic security systems including access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and integrated platforms across data centers and commercial facilities. Lead field installations and service projects from inception through completion, reading blueprints and coordinating with project managers and vendors. Program and troubleshoot hardware and software, diagnose faults, and conduct site surveys for project planning. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians and apprentices, ensuring compliance with codes and company standards. Complete service reports and as-built drawings accurately. Support after-hours emergency service and on-call rotations as required. Occasional travel to customer sites is necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience installing and servicing commercial electronic security systems
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass background checks and obtain security clearances as required
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Occasional travel to customer sites and project locations
- Support after-hours emergency service and on-call rotations as required
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company positively at customer sites
- Adhere to company safety policies and all OSHA safety requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of Gallagher, Software House, Genea, and/or Genetec experience
