Job Summary
Perform installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment while troubleshooting issues using technical manuals and diagnostic tools. Maintain records on manufacturer notices, upgrades, and safety issues, and study equipment performance to establish preventative maintenance schedules that increase uptime. Provide technical support to production operators and process engineering, defining solutions for equipment problems affecting the manufacturing process. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and cleanroom procedures. Requires 10+ years of relevant equipment maintenance experience in semiconductor manufacturing, including interpreting schematics and troubleshooting analog/digital circuits. Pay range $24.52-$53.85 hourly.
Required Qualifications
- Technical or Military training in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience in a related field
- 10+ years of relevant equipment maintenance and repair experience
- semiconductor manufacturing equipment preferred
- Ability to interpret electrical and electronic schematics, mechanical drawings, piping diagrams, and flow charts
- Experience in component level troubleshooting of analog and digital circuits
- Experience soldering and desoldering components on printed circuit boards
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing cable harnesses
- Ability to test and evaluate the condition of electrical components such as transistors, diodes, resistors and capacitors with an analog or digital multimeter
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to equipment safety and performance
- US citizenship, Permanent US residency or classification as a protected individual as defined in 8 USC 1324b (a) (3)
